Goodbye Zora

Last night the people who bought Zora came to get her.  This time I didn't tell the boys that she was leaving.  When Carmel left I had told them the night before and they cried and cried.  When the trucker got here it was time to leave for Awana Club but Gabe wanted to watch them put her on the trailer.  So I took him over and he watched her being loading.  He was so upset.  He said I don't want all of our heifers to go away.  For some reason he thought we were selling them all.
Zora

Yesterday was a busy day on the farm we trimmed feet in the morning.  We had a cow that was calving but somthing wasn't quite right so Sam called the vet.  Here she had a twisted uterus.  So they had to lay her down and they had this big board they layed it across the cow where the calf was and rolled the cow.  The board was to hold the calf in place and they rolled the cow to get her uterus untwisted so she could have the calf.  She had a bull.  I think all we get anymore is bulls it would be nice to get a heifer calf again.  Last night we had another fresh cow she had another bull.
