Turkey Hunting.....

This past weekend we went to the cabin

with Mom & Dad.

Caleb has been looking forward 

to this weekend for a long time.

It was his first time to go turkey hunting.

He was so excited.

We were driving around Friday evening and

saw some turkey.

So we said at least he saw some turkey,

if he didn't see any Saturday morning.

Gabe was going to go along hunting

but when I woke him up Saturday morning

he didn't want to go out in the dark.

He said he needed his sleep,

which he did since he was up early the 

morning before so we could spend the 

day at the cabin on Friday.

Some of turkeys we saw.

He saw two hens that were about 5 yards away!

Too bad neither of them were gobblers.

He was only aloud to shoot gobblers.

He had such a good time.

He said this was his best turkey hunt ever.

Saturday afternoon we spent some time 

at the park and we went to the rock garden,

which the boys LOVED!

Gabe thought he needed to take a pic of us.

The boys thought we should let them go swimming

on Friday since it was warm.

PaPa and Gabe on his dream rock.  He wanted on this rock so bad.

When we finally got him up there,

he said his dreams came true.  :)

We had such a good time this weekend

spending time with Mom & Dad.

Hopefully we can do it again sometime.
