Gabe's Birthday....

Last Monday was Gabe's 6th birthday.
We let them choose what they
want for their birthday supper,
this year Gabe choose pizza.
And I made him chocolate cake
with peanut butter icing.

We celebrated his birthday Friday night,
we went to see Madagascar 3,
which was a really good movie and
the boys loved it.
And then he wanted to go
to Texas Roadhouse to eat.
He likes that he gets to sit in a saddle
and everyone wishes him a happy birthday.

Saturday night we had his party.
Sam made BBQ chicken,
which was so good.

Gabe & his balloons

Sam had got him some balloons for his birthday,
he wanted them outside with us during the party,
so Sam hooked them on his chair and
then tied them again
so they wouldn't blow away.
Well, part way through the party,
he decided he wanted them off his chair.
Somehow they blew away.
He was SO very sad.
Caleb was too.

Gifts

some very sad boys...

He got lots of great gifts
and some money too,
which he loved being able to go
pick some toys out.

Sunday we celebrated father's day
by taking Sam out for supper.
Tomorrow will be 15 years since
Sam & I's first date.

The boys have been having a good summer
vacation so far.
They are fighting some but they also look out for
each other which is great.

Caleb's Last Day of 4th Grade....

For Caleb's last day
of school this year,
his class had a brunch.
I was able to go in and help.
They had fun playing games and
taking some pictures.
Caleb had a really good teacher this year.
We had the option of him keeping
his third grade teacher or getting
a new one.
I am so glad he got a different one.
She was so good for him
and he made some good friends,
especially Seth.

kindergarten graduation.
This year went SO fast.
I can't believe he is done
kindergarten already.
He had such a good teacher
this year,
and made lots of friends.
Hopefully he sees
some of them next year,
especially Carl.
He talked about him all the time.
He was so sad on Friday
when I picked him up from school.
He is really going to miss his teacher.
When they had there graduation
the principal
introduced them
as the class of 2024.
