- 3 cups 10x sugar
- 3 Tablespoons butter, softened
- 2-3 tablespoons peppermint extract, to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 cup evaporated milk
- chocolate to melt for coating
Directions:
- Mix 10x sugar, butter, vanilla, and peppermint extract. Add milk and milk well.
- Refrigerate til not so sticky. Roll into logs. Cut into 1/4 inch pieces. Return to refrigerator til ready to coat.
- Melt chocolate and coat peppermint pieces. You may want to keep some of the peppermint in the refrigerator while coating it get soft quickly.
- Makes about 5 dozen.
