Family Fun

On Thursday Gabe's

preschool had there family fun day.

He had so much fun.

Gabe is really going to miss preschool,

hopefully he will see some of his friends

next year at school.

One of his friend will ride the bus with him,

so that is good.

I'm not sure how he is going to act on the

last day.

I think he is going to cry,

I am trying to prepare him.

Awana

Last night was the closing program

for Awana.

The boys had so much fun going

this year.

Gabe was so sad it was over.

When they were showing a slide show

of the year, he started crying and crying.

He was so upset that it was over.

I kept telling him he is going to come

back in the fall,

but that didn't help.

I think he thought he wasn't
going to see his friends next year.

The other day Gabe took

my camera outside and took some pictures.

He has done this before

but they never turned out,

this time I thought some of them

were pretty good.

Easter Pictures

This year I wanted to take pictures

of the boys on Easter.

I took them the night before.

They were all dressed and waiting

for everyone to come,

plus it was nice outside.



Easter Dinner

Saturday night we had my family for Easter dinner.

Mom and Dad were in Alabama,

but everyone else was here.

I wasn't sure if the weather

was going to cooperate

for us to have our egg hunt.

But in the afternoon the sun

came out and it turned out

to be a nice evening.

I made ham,

party potatoes

baked corn

salad(Cassie brought the salad),

and homemade bread.

for dessert, which was yummy.

Lego Night

Bart Mennonite Church is having a lego night on

May 20 at 6:30pm.

Join us for an evening of family fun,

fellowship, and lego building.

Each child will receive a lego or lego duplo

to take home.

Please RSVP by May 6 so we can have a

lego for each child.

We will have lots of legos to build with.

We attended a lego night at a church a couple years ago,
it was a lot of fun.
