Icing.....

Ingredients:

• 4 Tablespoons butter
• 1 cup shortening ( or peanut butter)
• dash salt
• 2 Tablespoons vanilla
• 4-1/2 cup 10x sugar
• 1/4 cup milk

Mix all ingredients together.  I love this icing.  It is not too sweet.

You can also make it peanut butter just by substituting peanut butter for shortening.

Born May 30.

Gabe's Birthday.....

On Tuesday Gabe turned 7.

It's hard to believe he is that old already.

He just finished 1st grade.

He had the best teacher this year.

Mrs. Eshelman, she did some many great things 

with the kids.

He cried the last day.

He is really going to miss her.

She is one of the best teachers we ever had.

Hopefully he has a great teacher for second grade.

He is so excited for his party on Saturday!

Gabe's heifer, Eagle had her calf on May 14.
He was so excited.

He named her Eagleli.

He is so happy with her.

Fishing.....

Sunday the  boys went fishing for the first time this year.

Gabe has been wanting to go for a while.

Seth, Nathan, & Peter came over to 

go fishing with them.

They had so much fun together.

I have never seen a fish this small.
It was so funny how he caught it,
he wasn't even trying.

Bunnies.....

This weekend we got

the boys bunnies.

 

Sam had rabbits when he was

growing up

 and we had some when we first married.

 

So Saturday we went and

got them each one.

 

 

 

 

 

They only had males,

so we won't be able to have babies right now.

Nice Weather....

This weekend we had some great weather.
It was so nice out.
It seemed this winter was cloudy a lot.

Sunday after milking we went walking at
Wolf's Hallow Park.

Then we went to my grandparents for a pizza party.
It was so nice that the boys can be out after supper again.

On December 30,

our niece Cheyenne Nicole was born.

Gabe was so excited.

Dad's Birthday...

Last Saturday was Dad's birthday,

so we had the family down for supper.

Gabe had lots of fun helping to make supper.

I made meatloaf and he had fun helping to mix it.

Caleb.....

A couple weeks ago,

Caleb was fussing that he didn't want to go to school

because he had a runny nose.

We made him go .

He was so glad he went,

because he got awarded

STUDENT OF THE MONTH!!!!!!

Yeah CALEB so proud of you.

He was SO happy!!!
